we are pleased to announce the 14th PIUDA Project in 2025.

[PIUDA Project Overview]

Progress Ideas & Upgrade Developments of AI&Apps


The PIUDA Project is the only SW development competition in Korea

that connects demand-based idea planning → SW development (prototypes)

→ domestic and overseas pilot testing, and ultimately to commercialization support.

 


(Competition name) 2025 14th ICT Complex SW Development Competition, PIUDA Project


(Theme) Development of solutions to enhance the lives and welfare of the socially disadvantaged (disabled, elderly, Individuals with Borderline Intellectual Functioning) 

 - Choose a topic from the detailed options and proceed with development.

 - Only one application per team is allowed, and the topic number must be entered in the application

  * HW development for SW implementation is also possible.


Eligibility

· Anyone interested in the topic can apply in teams of up to 5 people

  * Teams of 3-5 people are recommended for smooth collaboration and expansion of ideas

② Preliminary (documents) and selection of participating teams : 5.14.(Wed) ~ 5.15.(Thu)

③ SW development : 5. 16.(Fri.) ~ 7.27.(Sun.)

④ Orientation : 5.21.(Wed.)

⑤ Mid-term Evaluation (Presentation) & Finalist Selection: Jun. 25 (Wed) ~ Jun. 26 (Thu)

⑥ Final (presentation) and award ceremony : 7.31.(Thu.)

 

□ Application

· Download the application form, fill it out, and submit it via email to ictcoc@kfict.or.kr

 * Be sure to compress and attach supporting documents related to the application

(e.g., awards, papers, certificates, degrees) and any relevant reference materials. 


 Document screening

· Evaluated based on motivation, development plan, expectations, and team development capabilities

· (Extra points) If the team includes at least one current or past participant of ‘AI·BC Complex Training’ or ‘Digital New Technology Training’ operated by NIPA (3 points)

 * Training certificate or training confirmation (if in progress) must be submitted


□ Awards & Prizes

· Grand Prize (1 team): Certificate (Awarded by the President of NIPA) and 3,000,000 KRW

· Excellence Award (2 teams): Certificate (Awarded by the President of NIPA) and 2,000,000 KRW per team

· Encouragement Award (3 teams): Certificate (Awarded by the President of NIPA) and 1,000,000 KRW per team

· Special Awards (3 teams): One team selected per category, each receiving a certificate from:

- President of the Korea Association of Welfare Centers for Persons with Disabilities

- President of the Korea Association of Senior Welfare Centers

- Director of the Lifelong Education Support Center for Individuals with Borderline Intellectual Functioning


★ Outstanding projects may be piloted by social welfare organizations ★

(Note: Pilot applications may not be implemented if the project does not meet required standards or conditions.)


□ Support

· Workspace & Equipment: Dedicated seats, development devices (PCs, smart devices, server PCs, etc.)

· Expert Mentoring: Expert-led Diagnosis and Improvement of Development Challenges, and Key Insights

· Commercialization Support: Business support for outstanding projects after pilot application


□ Other

· Selection will be revoked if the application contents are found to be false.

· Entries that are already completed, marketed, or commercialized will not be eligible for selection or awards.

· The team is fully responsible for any problems such as illegal theft and copyright infringement related to the entry

· The results will not be disclosed, and inquiries and appeals regarding the results will not be accepted.
